Selon Wikipédia, YUL est un code qui signifie : aéroport international 
Pierre-Elliott-Trudeau de Montréal, aéroport de Montréal au Québec (Canada), selon le code AITA des aéroports.
Honnêtement, peut de personnes sont capables de dire que Yul fait référence à l’aéroport montréalais. Pourtant, ces trois petites lettres collent à l’image de cette agglomération de 1,6 million d’habitants, et sont en passe de devenir célèbres.
En mars 2007, Yulblog, la rencontre des blogueurs de la région de Montréal, fêtait son 7e anniversaire. Au même moment, Yulbiz soufflait sa première bougie. Insufflé par Michel Leblanc et Philippe Martin, Yulbiz est une réunion de blogueurs et de gens d’affaires.
Inspirée par leurs homologues montréalais, et à l’initiative de Stephane Guerin 
les professionnels blogueurs de la capitale provinciale vont se rencontrer le 31 mai au pub Java à Québec pour un Q-Biz
Invité lors d’un Yulbiz spécial pré-Webcom et séduit par l’ambiance, le blogueur consultant Fred Cavazza a décidé d’emporter le concept dans ses bagages. Le 1er juin, le premier Yulbiz international sera ainsi inauguré à Paris.
L’histoire ne s’arrête pas là , et Yulbiz dépasse maintenant les frontières francophones avec des projets à New-York, soutenu par Jeff Mignon, voire à San-Francisco avec le célèbre Loic Lemeur. Mais où s’arrêtera de grandir Yulbiz ?
